Toughness is in Our DNA

The Tundra is about to change the game in regards to towing. With the muscle to tow up to 12,000 pounds,1 an upgrade from last year's model, there's no need to leave any essentials behind. And when connecting to a trailer, the Tundra makes it easy with the help of sensors and cameras. The Tundra offers two engines to choose from: the i-FORCE 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and the i-FORCE MAX 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine. Both engines offer plenty of power without neglecting efficiency. And if you plan on traversing off-road, available Multi-Terrain Select (MTS) and Crawl Control (CRAWL)2 provide the confidence and capability you need.

Looking for an escape from the daily grind? The Tundra offers a comfortable interior with a touch of luxury. Highlights include available leather-trimmed and soft-touch materials as well as available heated/ventilated front seats to keep you toasty or cool throughout the changing seasons. Add the available panoramic moonroof to get even closer to the great outdoors and let in more light and fresh air. You'll also appreciate the power vertical rear window, which allows you to reach into the cabin when needed and lets in even more of that outdoor air.

Even when you're heading off road, technology won't be left behind. The Tundra keeps you safely connected to your phone with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, which lets you bring along your favorite tunes and apps while displaying maps for navigation.3,4 And with the available 14-inch audio multimedia touchscreen, navigating your phone on the go just became easier and more convenient.

The Tundra wouldn't be a proper Toyota without safety features. These features include a Blind Spot Monitor (BSM),5 which will alert you if there is a vehicle in your blind spot, Trailer Merge Warning, which adds another level of safety when you're towing a trailer, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA),6 which will alert you if a vehicle is coming when you are backing out of a parking spot. Drive with even more peace of mind, knowing that the Tundra has got you surrounded with safety feathers.

1Before towing, confirm your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up and loaded properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. Do not exceed any Weight Ratings and follow all instructions in your Owner's Manual. The maximum you can tow depends on base curb weight plus the total weight of any cargo, occupants, and added vehicle equipment. "Added vehicle equipment" includes additional standard/optional equipment and accessories added by the manufacturer, dealers, and/or vehicle owners. The only way to be certain of your vehicle's exact curb weight is to weigh your vehicle without passengers or cargo. [Calculated with the new SAE J2807 method.] Installation of a tow hitch receiver or other accessories located near the rear bumper or side-door kick sensors may require disabling or removing the kick sensor, and the sensor operation setting in your vehicle should be turned off. See Owner's Manual for limitations.

2Crawl Control is designed for driving on difficult terrain at low speeds and assists the driver by controlling acceleration and braking, allowing the driver to focus on steering. See Owner's Manual for additional limitations and details.
